salt man

It is the corpse of a middle - aged huntsman discovered in Duzkandi village , nera the city of Zanjan.

Dating  back to the Sassaniah period ( 224-651 ) , it was found in a salt-mine , preserved from  decay.

Now it is kept in the National Museum of   Iran , Tehran.
